Hypnotherapy for the menopause aims to help you feel like yourself again. Every woman's menopause is experience is unique and your sessions will be tailored to needs whether that is to help you feel calm and more balanced, develop a more positive mindset or minimise the effect of physical challenges such as hot flushes.

STRESS - Everyone experiences stress from time to time and a little bit of stress or worry is good for you, it can motivate you and keep you safe. Sometimes though the pressure builds up, you may start to feel overwhelmed and it can be hard to enjoy life, everyday activities can become more difficult and you may feel that you are not coping well. Stress has a huge impact on our lives, physically, mentally and emotionally. Continued stress can contribute to health problems such as high blood pressure, palpitations, insomnia, migraines and Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS). It can also lead to anxiety, anger and low mood or a combination of all these. With hypnotherapy you can reduce the impact of stress and regain control.

ANXIETY - Anxiety can be described as extreme worrying and the experience is different for everyone. You may feel a constant dread and are unable to switch your mind off from worrying, or you may suddenly feel panicky but not know why. You could begin avoiding or even dreading some activities or situations. Sometimes anxiety disorders such as panic attacks or Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) can develop. Hypnotherapy can help you to reduce your anxiety, calm your mind and think more positively.

LOW MOOD - Low mood and depression often start gradually, building up slowly so that it may take some time before you realise anything is wrong. Many of us feel low from time to time but sometimes these feelings are prolonged and can be overwhelming. There are many symptoms and they range in severity. You may feel very low, unable to enjoy the things you usually would, be withdrawn and feel stuck in a pattern of negative thinking. Some people lack motivation and energy or find it hard to concentrate. Often sleep and eating patterns are affected too. Solution focused hypnotherapy does not focus on the cause of your depression but helps you to find a way forward, make positive changes and feel like you again.
