Hypnotherapy is a combination of Psychotherapy and Hypnosis. The Psychotherapy in itself is extremely beneficial and its effects are enhanced by the application of Hypnosis, which enables the subconscious mind to make beneficial changes. Many people believe that Hypnotherapy is something that is “done” to them but it is actually a much more collaborative process and change happens because you want it to and because you are prepared to take the necessary steps to allow it to happen.

SOLUTION FOCUSED HYPNOTHERAPY
This is the most modern form of clinical hypnotherapy and is based on a very successful therapy called Solution Focused Brief Therapy. It also uses techniques from CBT, NLP and Mindfulness. It focuses on solutions for the future, rather than analysing problems of the past and can be very effective in relieving the symptoms of anxiety and stress. Focusing on solutions means we do not dwell on problems.

COGNITIVE BEHAVIOURAL THEREAPY (CBT)
CBT is a talking therapy and helps you understand how what you do affects how you think and feel. It helps you to overcome negative thinking and deal with problems in a positive way.
NEURO LINGUISTIC PROGRAMMING (NLP)
NLP explores the connection between how we think, communicate and behave. NLP techniques can help you to change negative self-talk and to positively influence your thoughts and behaviours. It can help you change the way you feel about past events, diffuse conflict and overcome fears and phobias.
